XIMinc was founded on May 26, 2001, and is based in Missouri, United States. XIMinc has built upon its vision to provide cost-effective shared hosting services and customized web design/scripting services for everyone. We also pride ourselves in our open-source sponsorship through the YaBB online community software and other projects.

XIMinc is an Internet development company dedicated to providing web-based solutions to businesses, non-profit organizations, and even individuals. Being a customer-oriented company, we strive to accommodate the latest technologies and necessities for our clients. We focus on fast, personal service because without the customers' needs, we would have nothing to sell! We also focus on providing ample opportunities for growth, knowledge and career development for our employees.

Have you ever dreamed of being your own boss? Perhaps you just wanted to help people in the best way you could, using the talents you possess. This is where the idea of XIMinc came about. Corey Chapman, CEO of XIMinc, enjoyed helping friends and family with computer and technology-related issues. He then realized that he should harness these skills and turn it into something that could help more people and make a little money for his time. Soon after Xnull's grand opening on June 18, 2001, the open-source YaBB project underwent a variety of large changes, including become a project sponsored largely by Xnull. A few sections were opened and YaBB was integrated into the network. At the time, Xnull pushed towards acquiring as many already operated websites that provided computing information and services. Later, a push was made to focus on the core competencies: web hosting, web design, and custom scripting.

After discussing a name for quite a long time, "Xnull" arose as the favorite choice. Our original vision was to become a very large website with an enormous amount of content. And what does Xnull mean? It's a little bit of a play on computer terms. Null means "nothing" or "void" in the world of programming, and X is typically a placeholder. So it's really just a combination of computer terms! In early 2002, the name was changed to Xnull Internet Media, Inc. And with yet another new year, 2003, we have more utilized the new name and are now doing business as XIMinc!
